Do you know if your child qualifies for the Child Tax Credit?

The Child Tax Credit is an important tax credit that may be worth as much as $2,200 per qualifying child for 2025 and 2026, depending upon your income. Your child must be under 17 and have a Social Security number, up to $1,700 of the credit is refundable, and the credit begins to phase out once your income passes $200,000 ($400,000 for married couples filing jointly). I’ve created an infographic detailing the important facts you need to know about this credit and how it may benefit your family.

Keep in mind that the infographic below is from when the credit maxed out at $1,000, so lean on the current numbers above when you run your own math.
